In partnership with The Atlantic, Project Empathy will screen its first VR film, entitled "Left Behind." The film was written and directed by Wendy Calhoun, co-executive producer of the hit television series Empire.
"Left Behind" chronicles the story of what happens to children who are left behind when a parent gets arrested and becomes incarcerated.
The Atlantic's Race + Justice Summit will kick off in Los Angeles on Thursday, September 5th in downtown Los Angeles.
